Urban Covergence was a conference held in St. Louis
to try and attract thinkers and activists in the creative community who could help
to reinvigorate and reinspire failing urban city centres.

To give St. Louis its own "voice," a blank sign was taken to delapidated or abandoned areas around the city and enscripted with phrases that evoked words of lost lovers, in hopes of beckoning back the blossoming relationships of the past between the city and its inhabitants.
